I am looking for a tractor for ~6 acre lot. I would like a Backhoe Loader setup. I plan to use it to maintain the lot which is ~2 acres of lawn and the rest wooded. I visited a local dealer and he suggested the 4115 but mentioned it was being replaced in August. Does anyone have any idea what the replacement is scheduled to be. I am trying to decide if it is worth the wait and also what to expect.

I was also wondering if this seemed like an appropriate tractor and what would be the comparable Kubota tractor.

The 4115 is in the same weight/power/wheelbase class as the the Kubota B2710 and the B2910.

The kubota's have a nice three speed HST but no quick-tach bucket.

The 4115's two speed HST works fine as long as you don't try to fill the entire wheel well with rubber and it has a very handy bucket system that can convert to a fork lift in a minute or less.

Whatever replaces the 4110-4115 will be interesting to see. If it is totally made in Japan I would have a tendency to trust it. If it is assembled in the USA I would wait a couple of years to buy.

The current crop of Japanese Deere's are among the most reliable small tractors on the planet. ....
